Privacy policy
GAMJA takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains what we do with information on the website (webgamja.com) and in email inquiries, and how the GAMJA app handles your data.
1. In short
- In the GAMJA app, your conversations and files are stored only on your own phone. The GAMJA operator does not collect or see them.
- On the website, visit statistics are counted with Google Analytics. You can prevent being counted with Google's opt-out add-on or by blocking cookies (see section 6).
- If you email us, we receive your address and message in order to reply.
2. What we collect and how
| Category | Data | How |
|---|---|---|
| Visit statistics (Google Analytics) | A random cookie identifier, pages viewed and time, referrer, how far you scroll, buttons and links you click (download, GitHub, language switch, menu), browser, device and screen type, language, approximate location (country/city level) | Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) |
| Inquiries | Your email address and message | You send them to help@webgamja.com |
| Access logs | IP address, time of access, browser information | Recorded automatically by our hosting provider (Firebase Hosting, Google LLC) |
We configure Google Analytics not to store IP addresses and not to use advertising data (advertising identifiers, Google signals).
3. Why we use it
- Visit statistics: to see what is helpful and improve the website.
- Inquiries: to answer you and keep a record.
- Access logs: to deliver the website securely and prevent abuse (handled by the host).
4. Retention
- Visit statistics: we set Google Analytics data retention to 14 months; it is deleted automatically afterwards.
- Email inquiries: kept only as long as needed to handle them (at most one year).
- Access logs: according to the hosting provider's policy.
5. Sharing and international transfers
We do not sell your information or pass it on for other purposes. To run the website, the following providers process data.
| Recipient | Purpose | Data | Country |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google LLC | Visit statistics and hosting the website | The visit statistics in section 2 and access logs | United States and others |
If you do not want visit statistics sent to Google, block them as described in section 6. (Access logs are needed to open the page at all.)
6. Cookies and opting out of visit statistics
- For visit statistics, Google Analytics stores cookies in your browser.
- Change notice: to learn as much as possible in the early stage, from November 4, 2026 we count visits regardless of a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. Before, visitors who sent these signals were not counted. Because the service is new, this change applies together with this notice.
- How to turn it off: install Google's Google Analytics opt-out add-on, or block or delete cookies in your browser. Ad or tracker blockers also work.
7. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your information. Write to help@webgamja.com and we will respond without undue delay after confirming it is you. Depending on where you live (for example the EU/EEA or the UK), you may have additional rights, and you can complain to your local data protection authority.
8. The GAMJA app and your data
- Where data lives: conversations, files and password settings stay on your phone. They are not sent to the GAMJA operator.
- Claude (Anthropic): GAMJA runs Claude Code with your own Claude account. You sign in on Anthropic's official screen and GAMJA never sees your login. Your messages are sent through Claude to Anthropic and are governed by Anthropic's terms and privacy policy.
- Update checks: to look for new versions, the app connects to GitHub (our public release repository). GitHub can see your IP address. GAMJA sends no conversation content or device identifiers.
- GitHub connection (optional): if you turn it on, files made by your crews are recorded in your own private GitHub repository. Nothing is sent to us.
- Tools you install in the Toolbox and outside services used by crews follow their own providers' policies.
9. Children
GAMJA and the website are not directed at children under 14. We do not knowingly collect information from them and delete it if we learn of it.
10. Security
We limit who can access your information, and protect the website connection with HTTPS. The app limits password attempts and keeps your conversations and files on your phone. The code is public, so anyone can review it.
